I have a gig coming up and I run home to Marie's house to get cleaned up. I'm in the same clothes I wore yesterday and feeling a little grimey. I am in the music room downstairs where the shower is located. There has never been a shower in there, and I notice how unusual it is to have a showerhead sticking out of the wall by the doorway with no other shower features. I take all my clothes off and I hear Anne and her friends in the living room laughing and watching TV together. I call out to them to please not come into the music room or the foyer because I'm getting ready to shower. There are no doors. I walk over to the shower head and I see Anne and her friends in the foyer, all nude. I say, "Anne, what are you doing? I asked you not to come in." She replied, "You're not going to tell us what to do. We'll do what we want." I said, "Please, Anne, I would just like 5 minutes of privacy and then you all can come in." Anne rolled her eyes and said to her friends, "Come on, you all can shower in the other bathrooms." I knew with all those girls showering in all the bathrooms that we would run out of hot water quickly, so I hurried back to the music room shower. I turned on the tap and the water poured out onto the carpet. I realized there was no drain and that the water was just soaking the carpet. I knew it would ruin the floor and the basement ceiling, and I knew Marie would be really angry. I couldn't understand why she had installed a shower like that, surely she knew it would damage the house. I turned off the tap and decided it wasn't worth risking making her mad.
