I was in Ireland for an extended visit. I was staying in a boarding house type hotel which I have dreamed about before and was somewhat familiar with. The layout was sort of strange - it felt like a large collection of individual properties that had been connected to form the boarding house. From the main lobby there were several staircases going up somewhat haphazardly. The staircases had lots of landings and there were one or two doors at each landing. Some doors were to guest rooms, others were to storage closets. It was hard to remember which room was mine and how to get there. All the woodwork and doors looked like old wood that had recently been painted white. I thought it was quaint.
I was getting ready to go somewhere and I noticed my figure in the mirror. I was wearing a corset that gave me an extremely unusual shape. Instead of a normal "hourglass" shape one would expect, with the waist narrowing to a point and then immediately expanding, the narrowest part of my waist was like an 8 inch long tube. It was as if I had no ribs and the corset was shrinking my abdomen down to the spinal column. It looked SO GOOD! I was shocked to realize this had been an option all along. My entire middle was just gone and replaced by a lumbar tube. It looked so good with a top and skirt. I knew other people would be jealous and think I was showing off, but I was just excited to go out looking so fabulous.
