Elizabeth: Knots and Peacocks

I am in a mall with Michelle and Anne. There are stairwells connecting the upper and lower floors and we are struggling to get through the stairwell while social distancing. In the end, we just have to push upwards (as people are coming down) while holding our breath. The stores are unusual. The first store is a sprawling Peacock Store. Everything in there is made with peacock feathers. Some of the peacock feathers are gigantic and make big wall hangings, others are small and are made into jewelry. I like peacock feathers, but it's a little ridiculous and definitely overkill. I also wonder how a peacock store could be open when so many businesses are closed, it definitely doesn't seem essential!

We enter a discount store which looks a little bit like a cracker barrel gift shop. The prices are high, but a lot of things are on sale. I look at a side rack of items and see something really cool that I want - it's a knot kit that teaches you how to do all the different knots. I think that's neat and something I would like to learn how to do. I pick one up and it's half off, but it's still $17.99. That seems too expensive for a rope and some instructions. I pick up a few more and they're all the same price. Michelle and Anne are looking through the bin with me and Anne triumphantly hands me one that's $11.99. Score! I look it over and see, unfortunately, that it's an item in the wrong bin. It's actually a Minecraft figurine kit. Nice for the girls, but not what I want!
