<This dream was different than some of the others. There were lots of symbols that did not really seem to fit together. In fact, I had many questions upon waking up. This dream had a particular cinematic quality to it. I spent the majority of the dream from a perspective of watching a movie.>
The dream begins with Michelle and me walking into an Ulta Beauty Supply getting something. Ulta is massive and is almost like a combination of its typical beauty supply and Hobby Lobby. We're looking for clothes for a wedding and some foundation. I pick out this foundation that is a powder that looks half nude in color and half a blush shaped like roses. We go to a section of the store that sells clothes. A girl I went to high school with, LM, is wearing a long, white, lacy wedding dress with these gold lace flats that have a turquoise pointed toe and are bedazzled with sequins. I ask LM if they make her shoes in other sizes. She tells me that they only come in a size 6.5. I try them on anyway and realize she's lying so I walk off annoyed. Michelle and I make it out of the store and walk down this dock by a lake full of alligators. We come to a giant TV screen. I tell Michelle to download the Cartoon Network app so we can watch Hey! Arnold (not the right channel, I know).
The dream cuts to us in this school building. The building resembles a log cabin with buckets of water by our feet at the desks. The schools is some kind of religious private school because everyone is wearing plaid uniforms and reading through the Bible. There is a student wearing boxers but no other pants. Another girl has on boy shorts but no other pants. The guy is brunette with baby blue eyes and has a strong jaw line. He acts like a typical arrogant frat boy. The girl has long curled brunette hair but not makeup. The teacher is talking about milk and says that "Americans over-drink it (the dream does a dramatic camera-like pan over to the frat boy) or don't appreciate it (the dream cuts abruptly to a view of the girl)." The girl and guy stand up as if in a trance. The teacher tells them to go out into the snow. The wooden walls of the building open up and a dark path completely covered with ice and surrounded by snow and trees appears. Upset, I tell the teacher to stop.
"They aren't wearing shoes or pants! Their skin will stick to the ice!" I cry out.
The teacher laughs at me. He hands the duo a lantern. The guy and girl get on their hands and knees and crawl down the path. I can hear their skin sticking to the ice and tearing off. The icy trail becomes lined with blood. I whisper to Michelle that we are going to follow them and save them.
Michelle and I follow the couple, when the icy trail tapers into just very thick snow. The scenery resembles a snowy forest from a Thomas Kinkade painting. Michelle and I are trying to walk around many large tress. I am at least twenty feet away from the couple but Michelle is keeping her distance behind me. I try to follow their footsteps but am just making weird circular paths in the snow and the through the trees. I start to realize that they are under some kind of weird trance and have no clear destination as to where they are going. In the distance, I hear a monkey.
I see the girl climb up a skinny Sourwood tree. The frat boy is getting ready to fight. I run to come help.
"Remember me telling you the last time I wrestled a monkey I almost died? It's because he came up behind me and I stepped too far out," he tells me.
I look behind me and grab this monkey creature (picture the head/body of a monkey but more humanesque with patchy fur, much taller, and stronger bone structure). I put the monkey creature in a head lock and wake up.
<The first part of this dream made zero sense. I haven't thought about LM in years. The second part was questionable as well. I think the milk part had to do with me studying my probiotics course, however, the rest is unclear to me. If anyone has any idea what this could mean, please let me know!>
