Michelle and I are part of a large group of Nigerian refugees. We're still Americans and look like our normal selves. We are leading them to Europe to be free. The group has many Nigerian men and women along with a few people that say they're from South Africa. One woman in particular is named Skye. She reminds me a lot of Fatima from ANTM cycle 10.
Skye is a woman I befriended and set up with her current boyfriend many years ago. Michelle and I lead the group across the streets. Many women are yelling at us for doing this. We reach an old metal gate that is guarded by what looks like Medieval knights. The knights line us up against a stone wall along with many other refugees. Michelle and I stand with a former high school friend, AH. I tell the group to crouch down. The knights are harassing and threatening people. One shoots an arrow into the air and I have to dodge it (barely!). Another takes an axe and hits the wall just above Michelle's head. They finally open the gate and let us leave. I am relieved and look for Skye. She is running back towards her boyfriend who now appears injured.
I yell to her that we will get her boyfriend help. They just need to get here before the gate closes. I see the guards help him up and lead them to the gate. She says they have to go to a separate line for medical help. She points to a blacked out building. I tell her that we will find her help in the city. She shakes her head "no." I become sad knowing the guards are just leading them back to Nigeria.
