I am at a party with Robert, his friend (B), and whom I'm assuming to be his friend's girlfriend. In real life, I have met B's girlfriend once but she is very different in this dream. Her name is Josefine in the dream and she has long, wavy red hair. She is peppy and wants to introduce us to many people. We enter a tall, brick building. The bricks are painted white and the exterior has black doors. The set up kind of reminds me of the powerpuff girls' house.
Inside there are winding staircases. People are running around everywhere. It is overwhelming! I have a vague idea where we're supposed to go, but Josefine insists on directing us. She starts leading us up a staircase and I tell Robert that we're going the wrong way. He insists that Josefine knows what she's doing. As we ascend the staircase I get a horrible feeling. We reach an abandoned floor with nothing but an open room down a hallway. I tell Robert we shouldn't be here. We look back and see Josefine is gone.
Inside the room is a red oriental rug and a vase on a pedestal. I whisper to Robert that we should leave and he quickly runs over and covers my mouth. He turns me to the wall where there is a list of rules. If the rules are broken, that person is cursed. He becomes worried. An old man emerges from behind us. He is blind and is wearing nothing but a loin cloth. He has ashy brown hair that is unkempt and shoulder length. He tells us that he can save me from the curse. We just have to take part in the ritual.
The old man lights candles around the vase in the pedestal. The vase harbors an evil spirit that is now latched on to me. We must put it back into the vase. He burns some sage and begins to sway back and forth. He has us participate in a dance. The room begins to shake. I hear the vase crack and think that this is the end of it. That I will be cured. The vase falls off the pedestal and shatters. He tells us that he can no longer help us.
He tells us to run and keep running. The spirit latches on to those close to us and will possess them to kill me by any means necessary. Robert calls B and tells him to come get us. I tell Robert that we have to go alone seeing as we can't trust anyone. Robert brings me back to my parents' house. I hear the squeal of a car in the distance. I know this to be my coworker MD's car and that she is possessed. I tell Robert that I'm going to hide in the tree and hopefully she doesn't find me. As I begin to climb I see her approaching me with a large pointy stick. Her eyes are glazed over as if she is blind.
She begins trying to stab me with the stick. I try to climb higher but she starts to climb as well. Robert is trying to find some way to stop her, but I know this is the end.
