<The majority of my dreams usually involve mundane activities surrounded by distinct, vivid scenery. I typically only get around three to four hours of sleep a night. The more hours I sleep, the more picturesque the scenery becomes. This dream was the result of six hours of sleep.>
Michelle, Elizabeth, Marie, Adam (my boyfriend) and I are visiting an old castle that had been refurbished into an office building. The first floor opened by a draw bridge and the rooms are surrounded by stone walls and floors. However, cubicles and desks were in every room. Elizabeth, Michelle, and I come across an old photograph of us on a mahogany desk surrounded by papers with some type of writing on them. The picture reveals the three us of standing in the labyrinth from the movie Labyrinth featuring David Bowie. Apparently a door opens at a certain time on a certain date that allows us to enter the labyrinth. I tell Adam about the labyrinth and invite him to come along with us. This is a big deal because this place is very special to us.
The three of us and Adam cross a rickety wooden bridge that hangs over a large valley. I point to a Numel (a camel type of Pokemon) and watch it go through a hidden trail. I alert the group that we are getting closer and must follow the Numel. We follow the path of the trail and come to a hidden tunnel that is covered by shrubs and twigs. At the end of the tunnel is a circular bronze door. Michelle and Elizabeth open the door and go inside. Adam follows down the path with a large group of children. I am livid.
"They can't come. You were invited here but you can't invite people. This is a special place to me and my sister," I bark pushing the children away from the door.
Adam rolls his eyes and reluctantly agrees. We go inside. The scene resembles the end scene of Labyrinth with broken walls and fallen pillars, similar to a demolished castle. I see Michelle talking to a girl with bubblegum blue hair. I know this is Adam's other girlfriend and am furious that he brought her here.
"This place is special to me and my sisters and you're ruining it because she's here. If you really loved me, you'd respect that," I sob.
"I do love you. Why are you being psychotic about this?" Adam questions.
"You're right. I'm sorry."
He mentions something about spending his birthday with her enraging me more. I remind him that I had special plans just for us and that he is welcome to spend time with her but only on a 50/50 basis. He remarks that I should know how this is and blows off my feelings. In tears I nod my head.
Upon waking up, many questions arose. Why was I fine with Adam dating another girl? Why was he dating a girl with blue hair? Were she and Michelle friends? What else did we do in the labyrinth? I find myself wishing David Bowie would have made an appearance followed by a musical number.
