Anne: Quantum Leap

The premise behind this dream makes zero sense. In this dream, there are time travelers who can do so by leaping from really tall trees. The time travelers carry ladders that only they can climb and hide from normal people. The time travelers can also change form to look like other people. In my dream there is a plot of land right in front of a city that looks somewhat like an abandoned cemetery. There are old tombstones, but there isn't a gate or anything to block people from walking into the area. There is a very large apple tree and a couple surrounding oak trees that are also tall. I keep telling myself that Adam has a ladder there late at night and that he is coming back for me. I have no idea where I am that requires saving or why he left me there in the first place. The time travelers apparently keep their ladders at an angle so that they blend in with the surrounding and no one could see them. This prevents people from climbing up the ladders. I wait until night time to find a ladder. A single street lamp lights the area. I am carrying a duffel bag that must be filled with a lot of stuff because it feels heavy. I creep into the plot of land trying not to make any sounds. I see someone in the branches of the apple tree moving around. I keep walking and find a thin and flimsy ladder. I climb up cautiously and see the figure of a man moving among the branches. I start yelling for Adam. He stops moving and locks eyes with me. He takes out a pocket knife and starts cutting at the branches to knock over the ladder. I begin to panic and ask why he is doing this. He explains that he is doing this because he loves the '70s. My mind races and I start to think that this can't be Adam.

"You aren't Adam. You're Logan Bowling!" I shout.

Adam's forms changes entirely. He looks like a middle-aged man in a bowlers hat. He tries to push the ladder away but I grab onto his arm and pull myself onto the tree branch. We transport to a new location that looks like an abandoned city.
