<Adam and I saw Zombieland 2 a few days ago. As I suspected, I have had zombie dream after zombie dream because of it. This one in particular stood out to me because it had components from Zombieland 2. In Zombieland 2, Columbus calls a certain type of zombie T-800 after T2: Judgement Day. These zombies are faster, stronger, and take a lot longer to kill (a double tap doesn't cut it). My dream was no exception to this.>
The dream begins at the store. Our back room is wider than normal. There is a white air vent that is over the computer desk with multiple wooden shelves below the vent. I walk out of the back room and up towards the gate and see the chaos that is ensuing at the mall. There are people running and other turning into zombies. I know I won't have time to shut the gate so I corral my coworkers together. Adam still works there. I tell him that I am responsible for their safety, so listen to me carefully. I command that everyone follow Adam. Everyone must climb the shelves in the back room as they wait for their turn to crawl through the air vent. Zombies can't climb in most of my dreams so I know there is safety in height. I trail behind as Adam leads the way. Thankfully, we all make it through the air vent okay. The vent leads to an underground tunnel system. The tunnel looks like a lost city. There are tall buildings and cobblestone streets. A whole water system runs through the middle. One side resembles a suburban neighborhood with little townhouses and gardens. There are still zombies in this tunnel city but I feel more at ease because there are less of them. I see a group of columns in the corner between the first townhouse and where the air vent exits. There is a platform in between the columns that looks like a gym floor. The platform is floating really high and people are sitting on it. I tell my coworkers to get onto the platform because there is safety in being higher up. Adam and I try to climb up onto the platform as well but every time we get onto it, our piece breaks off and we are hardly hovering above the ground. We know it is pointless for the two of us to stay here so we decide to take care of the zombies in the area (we have no weapons so I'm not really sure what our plan is). We walk down the sidewalk by the suburbs. There is a blue cottage with a deep, open doorway. The cottage is surrounded by an iron fence with two flower beds by the walkway. I peek inside and see a zombie with his back turned. I motion to Adam to keep going because the zombie doesn't see us. He is not worth expelling our energy. The zombie turns around as I walk by and chases after me. I yell for Adam and tell him it is a T-800. Adam is sprinting away telling me that he is trying to find a weapon. I am trying to run away from this zombie but I am running too slowly. The zombie knocks me over and climbs up my body towards my face. The zombie is a male with blisters covering his red face. His eyes are blood-red as is if he has some hemorrhagic fever. I can smell his rotting flesh and feel the wet touch of his bloody hands. I put one hand against his neck to prevent him from biting me. I try to grab a rock from the nearby flowerbed, but I can't reach. I see Adam running over and he hits the zombie in the head with a shovel. I remind Adam that it is a T-800 and the shovel won't kill it. We see the shadows of a horde of zombies approaching from the tunnel similar to a 28 Weeks Later style. Adam tells me we don't have time. He grabs my hand to pull me away from the T-800. We start running.
