Anne: Biohazard Level IV

<Rarely do I ever have nightmares, but when I do, they usually involve zombies and are extremely vivid. I played the video game The Last of Us last night so I think that is what inspired this dream.>

I am not sure where the dream starts but I find myself in a city. People are running everywhere and there are cars flipped on their sides. The city is up in flames and people are screaming. Through the chaos, I see people getting bit by infected individuals similar to 28 Weeks Later (an infection film, if you have not heard of it). I end up getting bit somehow and know that I only have three days or so until I turn. In defeat, I call Michelle and tell her that I was bit and to arrange my funeral. I request that only close relatives and friends are to attend. I call Adam (my boyfriend) because I know he is far away and won't be able to make it to my funeral in time. I tell him that I love him and to not worry because this was going to happen to one of us at some point. My dad notifies me that the government thinks that it has developed a cure/vaccine for the virus. It won't work on those who have turned but for those who are in the early stages of infection, it might. Despite being completely experimental, I agree because I have nothing to lose.

My dad takes me to this hospital place. It resembles the inside of an airplane but MUCH larger. He leads me to what appears to be a cock pit but it has a red hospital bed in the middle. A man in a Hazmat suit tells me I have to have two IV injections: one in my stomach and one in my arm. He warns me that they will be extremely painful. He asks which one I want done first. I tell him my arm. The man gets the IV fluid, a yellow-ish brown fluid in a bag, and a needle about a foot long. Thankfully I cannot remember actually being injected.

The man takes me to a hospital room with about fifty beds. They have to keep all of us isolated just in case we turn. I see Michelle who has apparently been bitten but has an IV in her stomach. The hospital staff tells us that they have to transport us away to ensure we aren't near the public. The dream takes sudden jumps in various scenes.

We travel through deep water in the middle of a forest which makes me nervous because I am concerned that the IVs will come out and people will turn. I feel feverish and weak. Apparently the treatment's side effects worsen depending on how long the infection has persisted. We come to a log cabin and are assigned beds. Michelle and I try to go to sleep but we hear loud shrieks. Apparently someone has turned. The dreams becomes utter chaos. We try to find a way to escape but there is blood everywhere and people are turning left and right.

<I woke up after that. This dream had a particular movie quality to it. Maybe I can find someone to write the next big zombie film after it.>
